What it is: The Intel Teaching Tools consists of three interactive resources:
Visual Ranking (students in Grades 3-12 give reasons for ranking a list of items supplied by the teacher)
Seeing Reason (students in Grades K-12 create a map that shows relationships)
Showing Evidence (students in Grades 3-12 construct arguments that are supported by evidence).
How to use: Register (free) to be able to design your own activity within any of these tools. Explore the Unit Plans and Project Ideas for each Tool for great ideas and play in the Try the Tool area. These tools will allow the teacher to monitor student groups and leave comments.
Tip 1: If you only have 1 or 2 computers in your classroom, students can collaborate on paper, then access the site to input their decisions.
